Ruby Ubhi

Ruby's areas of expertise include Executive Coaching, Board and Leadership Development and Belonging. She works collaboratively and creatively with organisations and their people, supporting them to achieve high performing, innovative and inclusive cultures.


She is known for: creating safe spaces that both nurture growth and challenge thinking; building trusting and collaborative relationships withing groups; and bringing novelty and creativity to how people work and learn together. She supports leaders from the C-suite to new graduates to develop greater self-awareness and impact, draw strength from their identity, and to understand and work with power dynamics / imbalances as they step up to become more courageous, resourceful and authentic in their leadership. Ruby brings tricky and difficult conversations into the fold in a smooth, sensitive and non-shaming way. This has enabled countless teams and organisations to face hard truths and build a sustainable path towards positive change.


Ruby was a senior leader at KPMG working on large scale leadership programmes as well as Associate Professor in leadership development at the University of Birmingham. She now works with a wide range of diverse leaders and teams in small local charities through to global corporations.


Ruby has a BSc Business Maths & Statistics (London School of Economics), MSc Leadership & Public Health (University of Birmingham), PGCE Adult Education, Certificate Humanistic Counselling.
